Bio

Jarrod Lapato was born in Pittsburgh, PA and grew up mostly in Vero Beach, Florida. Even as a small child, he had a special skill for noticing tinyl details in his everyday surroundings - a talent which manifested itself mainly in an uncanny ability to find money lying on the ground wherever he went.

Originally, he hoped to capitalize on this money-finding talent by going into the finance industry. But after graduating from Florida State, he soon discovered that the finance industry makes its money through far dirtier techniques than simply fishing it out of mud puddles.

In 2001, Jarrod was inspired to revisit his love for photography. Once again, his eye for small details serves him well as he explores his favorite photographic subjects of nature, animals, and human expression.

Jarrod Lapato currently lives in Saint Augustine, Florida, with his girlfriend Dawn and their three cats.
